About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage delivery of projects in compliance with ACI policies and customer contractual commitments
Lead and collaborate with teams to deliver projects of varying complexity, typically lasting 6–12 months
Manage multiple projects in parallel using ACI’s project methodology
Facilitate communication with customers and internal departments
Manage project risks, issues, KPIs, schedules, budgets, scope and deliverables
Oversee projects from inception through execution and final delivery
Track contractual commitments and apply change control
Develop project plans, schedules, agreements and proposals
Direct research, analysis, documentation, design/development, testing, negotiation, problem resolution, training, reporting, implementation, project closing and post-rollout review/audit
Provide monthly Estimated Time to Completion information to revenue accounting for revenue forecasting
Establish project governance models and resolve escalations
Maintain RAID logs and ensure project teams have appropriate delivery procedures
Update project data in Jira and Salesforce
Review and approve project team timecards
Maintain and share weekly project updates with internal and external stakeholders
Manage customer and stakeholder relationships
Conduct post-project evaluations
Select and implement Waterfall, Agile SCRUM/Kanban, or hybrid methodologies; serve as Scrum Master when applicable
Conduct method adoption workshops and align customers on methodology, budget, scope and planning
Provide guidance to newer team members
Perform other duties as assigned
Adhere to corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience
7+ years client project management experience
5+ years in the payments/financial industry
Specific project management training preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Advanced organizational and planning skills
Strong stakeholder management and relationship building
Advanced problem-solving abilities
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in South Africa on a full-time basis
