About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Acorns’ marketing measurement roadmap across experimentation, forecasting, and incrementality testing
  • Partner with Marketing leaders and third-party agencies to define test scope, prioritization, and success metrics
  • Design and run geo holdout tests and other incrementality methodologies end-to-end
  • Collaborate with Data Science to maintain up-to-date priors and data inputs for the MMM
  • Set standards for sample sizes, statistical power, confidence intervals, test design, and post-experiment analysis
  • Develop marketing performance and spend-efficiency forecasting models incorporating seasonality, channel saturation, and macro trends
  • Query large-scale platforms such as Databricks and BigQuery with marketing and media data sources
  • Identify channel inefficiencies, investigate anomalies, and develop strategic hypotheses
  • Use AI tools and agent-based workflows to automate data extraction and repetitive analyses
  • Mentor junior and mid-level analysts, conduct code reviews, and foster data culture
  • Translate marketing measurement insights into long-term budget and channel decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, media measurement, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience designing and running geo holdout tests or comparable geo-based incrementality methodologies
  • Experience building marketing forecasting models, such as spend/response, MMM, or channel-level forecasting
  • Deep expertise in experimentation methodology, A/B testing, hypothesis testing, sample estimation, and statistical power analysis in marketing contexts
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python within cloud data environments such as Databricks and BigQuery
  • Hands-on experience with marketing measurement tools and platforms, including MMM/incrementality platforms and ad platform reporting such as Google/Meta
  • Strong intuition for marketing and customer psychology, especially acquisition and retention impacts
  • High autonomy and project management skill for complex analytics projects
  • Demonstrated commitment to formal mentorship and technical leadership
