About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute annual, quarterly, and monthly territory business plans aligned with client objectives and growth goals
  • Engage operators, secure sales, maintain customer relationships, and deliver product presentations on behalf of CORE clients
  • Conduct distributor meetings, provide product support, collaborate on sales, and respond to distributor requests
  • Develop and execute a minimum of 30 High Value Targets each quarter
  • Conduct a minimum of 10 sales calls per week, or alternative sales metrics assigned by management
  • Present a minimum of 3 client brands and 6 products during each customer sales call using consultative selling techniques
  • Achieve a minimum quarterly close rate of 30% while managing opportunities and territory pipeline activity
  • Use CRM systems and reporting tools to track activity, forecast results, and maintain customer intelligence
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, customer opportunities, and competitive activity to develop growth recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, culinary, category management, and client teams to execute strategic initiatives
  • Represent CORE clients at food shows, industry events, customer meetings, and distributor functions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant sales or foodservice experience
  • 3-5+ years of foodservice sales, account management, business development, or related experience
  • Strong CRM, analytical, relationship management, and communication skills
  • Ability to drive daily, stand, walk, lift and carry sales materials and product samples
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Frequent travel within assigned territory
