About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Train, mentor, and inspire a team of Retail Coverage Merchandisers to meet and exceed client expectations in merchandising, shelving, and sales execution
- Provide daily strategic direction to maximize sales opportunities and guide the team in identifying best practices and in-store selling opportunities
- Conduct regular audits and deliver actionable feedback to ensure high-quality execution
- Build strong relationships with retail partners through consistent communication
- Partner with Retail Directors and internal stakeholders to align on key initiatives
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Acosta’s retail systems
- Train associates using Acosta University and other tools to enhance in-store performance
- Develop selling materials for retail meetings
- Conduct bi-quarterly evaluations to support team development
- Perform other assigned responsibilities, including meeting physical requirements and maintaining a valid driver’s license for travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven ability to see the big picture and translate diverse systems and goals into actionable plans
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and promoting continuous learning within teams
- Ability to align organizational goals with individual performance objectives
- Expertise in retail systems and tools to drive efficiency and execution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and sales skills
- Comfortable presenting to various audiences and responding to questions with confidence
