About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the planning and delivery of cross-functional strategic initiatives
Maintain project plans, milestones, actions, risks, issues and dependencies
Track delivery against agreed dates and follow up with accountable owners
Identify blockers or conflicting information and escalate appropriately
Coordinate inputs across multiple teams and stakeholders
Support requirements gathering, documentation and traceability through to delivery
Maintain clear and accurate project documentation
Support project governance meetings, including preparation, decisions, actions and follow-up
Ensure agreed ways of working and governance processes are consistently followed
Maintain project and programme information within Jira and Confluence
Keep actions, requirements, milestones and delivery information current and traceable
Work with Product and Engineering teams to understand delivery progress and dependencies
Improve the quality and consistency of information in project and product management tools
Produce project and management reporting from information held in these systems
Prepare concise status updates for senior stakeholders and governance forums
Bring together information from different teams to provide a clear view of progress
Support executive and programme reporting
Analyse project information to identify emerging risks, dependencies or areas requiring attention
Maintain evidence behind project status and key delivery milestones
Use AI tools to support project administration, analysis and reporting
Identify manual activities that could be simplified or automated
Help test and implement AI-enabled project management workflows
Work across the business to identify how AI capabilities can improve project and programme delivery
Support repeatable processes and templates across strategic initiatives
Improve project management discipline without unnecessary process or bureaucracy

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years’ experience in project management, programme support, PMO, business analysis or a similar role
Practical experience working in a technology, fintech, financial services or related environment
Hands-on experience using Jira and Confluence to manage project or product delivery
Recognised project management qualification or certification, such as PRINCE2, APM, AgilePM, Scrum or equivalent
Good understanding of core project management disciplines, including planning, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and change
Experience coordinating activity across multiple teams and stakeholders
Ability to take complex or incomplete information and structure it clearly
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confidence following up on commitments and working with people at different levels of an organisation
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail while retaining sight of the overall objective
Active interest in AI and how it can be applied to improve ways of working
Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of ActiveViam’s products, clients and markets
Experience within fintech, capital markets, investment management, risk management or financial technology would be an advantage
Familiarity with financial services products, investment workflows or risk concepts would be an advantage
Experience supporting Product and Engineering teams and working with software development lifecycles would be an advantage
Experience working within Agile delivery environments would be an advantage
Experience with requirements gathering and translating business requirements into structured delivery inputs would be an advantage
Experience producing reporting for senior management or executive governance would be an advantage
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot or other generative AI applications would be an advantage
Exposure to automation, workflow tools or AI agents would be an advantage
Experience working in a growing or changing organisation where processes are still being developed would be an advantage
