About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the focal point for a varied portfolio of payroll clients
  • Deliver consistently excellent customer service
  • Work with in-country payroll partners to ensure payrolls are delivered accurately and on time
  • Host and chair regular customer governance calls
  • Track progress, review performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Prepare monthly governance reports by country
  • Keep payroll manuals relevant and regularly updated
  • Prepare payroll calendars and checklists
  • Ensure checking sheets are completed for every payroll processed
  • Answer customer, partner and colleague queries
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues or escalate complex issues through internal channels
  • Report to the UK Payroll Team Lead

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in a customer service / administration environment
  • Payroll experience would be advantageous
  • Self-motivated with a passion for great service delivery
  • Genuine commitment to delivering the highest standards of customer service
  • High attention to detail and ability to spot errors and follow them through to resolution
  • Strong skills with databases, systems and software packages, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Honest and authentic communication style, including difficult conversations
  • Ability to be a brilliant team player and support colleagues across the team
