About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the Order Management Process while adhering to HACCP, local, and state food safety practices
  • Receive orders and disseminate order information
  • Communicate required actions for orders
  • Create shopping and production sheets
  • Communicate directly with customers, the local kitchen team, and Guest Services
  • Prioritize orders and ensure quality, completeness, packaging, labeling, and delivery timing
  • Handle miscellaneous procurement
  • Verify food quality and specifications against kitchen-issued specifications in the software system
  • Use Shipday for order logistics, deliveries, delivery photos, and recipient names
  • Serve customers by phone, email, and in person as applicable
  • Obtain customer feedback and relay feedback and suggestions to the Catering Director or General Manager
  • Act as the central kitchen quality and accuracy captain and on-site problem solver
  • Resolve customer quality, satisfaction, safety, and cost issues according to company procedures
  • Pick up supplies and perform routine vehicle cleaning and maintenance as needed
  • Maintain food quality-control and food-safety procedures during delivery
  • Dress according to ACW procedures and wear the approved uniform
  • Assist with silverware assembly, kitchen stocking, shopping lists, and maintaining the shopping shelf
  • Meet weekly with the General Manager to ensure ACW standards and procedures are followed
  • Safely operate company vehicles and comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Cross-train to prepare or produce food in the kitchen or drive when needed
  • Perform other duties assigned by the General Manager
  • Success measured through twice-yearly Annual Performance Reviews and core service goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma is required
  • Previous face-to-face customer service experience in the aviation, food services, or hospitality industry is essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient in email, Internet use, and basic office software programs
  • FDA Regulations and safe food handling required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details
  • Must possess a sense of priority at all times
  • Prior knowledge of aviation terminology preferred
  • Prior hospitality/food expeditor and delivery experience preferred
  • Must have a clear driving record
  • Flexibility required to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to travel in accordance with the current ACW Travel Policy
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply good judgment to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions
  • Ability to sit, talk, listen, stand, walk, use hands, reach, and carry with hands and arms
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • New culinary candidates must submit to a background check, MVR, drug test, and E-Verify
