About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the District Manager by directing and coordinating Air Culinaire activities and operational duties
- Manage team work quality, global communications, operations standards, and delivery of business functions in the market
- Ensure performance standards, product specifications, accuracy, training, and culinary expertise across kitchens
- Use Shipday for catering order logistics, deliveries, delivery photos, and recipient names
- Communicate, report, collaborate, and follow procedures with the District Manager, Senior Director of Operations, and Sales team
- Drive market performance and efficiency standards and support achievement of operational goals
- Execute local sales and promotional efforts, client engagement, relationship building, customer service, and client loyalty initiatives
- Recruit high-performing team members and develop catering revenue streams and aviation catering clients
- Supervise and train staff and oversee food and concierge service preparation and delivery
- Support payroll, scheduling, performance reviews, hiring, discipline, training, and related documentation
- Maximize kitchen financial performance within quality standards, corporate guidelines, and budgets
- Manage HACCP, food safety, health and safety, customer relations, satisfaction, and timely delivery standards
- Assist with local sales promotions, client visits, inventory reporting, purchasing, and receiving
- Manage cleaning and maintenance of company assets and arrange repairs, contracts, and services
- Investigate and resolve food- and service-related complaints and process events
- Implement and enforce corporate policies and Air Culinaire's Standard Operating Procedure
- Submit timesheets, operational checklists, performance reports, and weekly Coupa expense reports
- Manage and audit monthly vehicle maintenance logs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to support operational directives covering kitchen accuracy, office administration, personnel, local clients, facilities, capital assets, government compliance, and corporate requirements
- Experience supporting catering operations, supervising and training staff, and overseeing food and concierge service quality and accuracy
- Bilingual English-Spanish ability is a strong advantage and may be a deciding factor
- Compliance with state labor laws regarding employee meal and rest breaks, including required documentation
- Ability to support culinary event execution, menu coordination, staff training and development, and payroll approval
- Ability to support payroll, scheduling, performance reviews, training, hiring, discipline, and related paperwork accurately and on time
- Knowledge of kitchen financial performance, quality standards, corporate guidelines, and budgets
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, health and safety regulations, and premium-quality standards
- Ability to handle customer communication, client relations, satisfaction, timely delivery, purchasing, and receiving
- Ability to manage cleaning, maintenance, repairs, contracts, and services for company assets
- Ability to investigate and resolve food- and service-related complaints and process events
- Ability to implement and enforce corporate policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to prepare timesheets, operations checklists, operational performance reports, and expense reports
- Ability to use Shipday for order logistics, deliveries, delivery photos, and recipient documentation
- Ability to use Coupa for weekly company and personal expense reports
- Final candidates must complete a pre-employment background check, drug test, MVR if applicable, and E-Verify
