About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate catering operations for Air Culinaire Worldwide consistently with company policies and procedures
- Provide bespoke guest service while protecting confidential client information
- Contribute to all functions and operations of the Guest Services Team
- Log into assigned phone queues and work assigned emails
- Process assigned orders accurately and timely
- Record pertinent order information and properly e-file and code orders
- Use company software to identify approved preferred suppliers
- Research custom-item pricing using approved websites
- Communicate with the supply chain by phone or email to clarify orders
- Execute quotes and apply approved promotional codes or discounts
- Upsell items based on clients’ requested menus
- Log Process Events according to department policy
- Coordinate across departments to resolve customer concerns from order placement through invoicing
- Apply Process Event solutions using the company credit matrix and management support
- Perform quality control of orders, fees, and potential GPQC issues before submission
- Confirm orders with suppliers and close the order communication loop
- Communicate unresolved issues to management at shift close
- Engage Guest Services, Operations, and senior management as needed
- Participate in cross-training, weekly huddles, department meetings, and meetings with managers, Network, On-Sites, and customers
- Handle escalated issues with customers, kitchens, or vendors in conjunction with the Guest Services Manager
- Perform additional duties assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Field preferred
- Experience handling client relationships in a business environment
- Prior experience with catering/culinary operations or hospitality required
- Basic knowledge of culinary terms and practices
- Prior aviation experience is a plus
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer navigation, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods, including telephone communications, office systems, record keeping, and correspondence formatting/etiquette
- Ability to establish daily priorities, work independently, proceed with objectives, and resolve issues
- Schedule flexibility, including evening, weekend, or holiday hours as necessary
- Pre-employment background check required
