About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support tasks and activities across the full employment lifecycle
  • Administer job requisitions, job postings, screening, background checks, drug screening, driving record checks, offer letters, and onboarding tasks
  • Own Form I-9 requirements, including documentation review and E-Verify
  • Intake, review, and process employment status changes
  • Generate formal notifications for promotions and job changes
  • Respond to employment and wage verification requests
  • Support benefits enrollment, Open Enrollment, internal newsletters, wellness initiatives, leave, and accommodation processes
  • Prepare training materials, schedule trainings, and track attendance
  • Oversee in-office events and employee engagement initiatives
  • Own the ACW side of the HRIS, including security, departments, job titles, locations, and password resets
  • Maintain employment data, HR files, HRIS records, and HRIS landing page
  • Coordinate post-accident drug testing and review driving records
  • Monitor minimum wage changes and maintain HRIS information for OSHA reporting
  • Assist with audits and insurance renewals
  • Ensure labor law posters remain compliant across company locations
  • Generate offboarding paperwork and coordinate with IT and payroll
  • Provide HR customer service to employees across the company
  • Improve HR processes and documentation
  • Contribute to annual and special projects, including performance reviews, base pay adjustments, bonus programs, and audits

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field or equivalent education, training and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Multi-state Human Resources experience
  • HR-related experience with a large hourly employee population
  • HR-related experience in the hospitality sector, such as food services industry, hotel, country club, etc.
  • Verbal and written fluency in Spanish is required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills, ability to present information and work with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of current federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, managing priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality and good judgment in interpreting and applying policies to problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote)
  • Proficient in ADP Workforce Now
