  • Deliver outstanding internal and external customer service and client loyalty
  • Train and develop operational team members
  • Ensure SOPs and company policies are followed
  • Manage operational methods, systems, activities, and client-facing product and service performance
  • Support global business functions and meet clientele and market performance expectations
  • Ensure disciplined use of systems, compliance, performance standards, product specifications, accuracy, training, and culinary expertise across kitchens
  • Recruit, develop, and train local talent
  • Support development of new revenue streams and aviation catering clients
  • Supervise and train staff and oversee food and concierge service quality and accuracy
  • Support execution of culinary events, regional menu coordination, staff training, and payroll approval
  • Support payroll/labor processing, scheduling, performance reviews, training, hiring, discipline, and related paperwork
  • Support kitchen financial performance according to corporate guidelines and budgets
  • Manage adherence to food safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery standards
  • Use Shipday for catering order logistics, deliveries, delivery photos, and recipient information
  • Assist with inventory recording, local purchasing, and receiving
  • Manage cleaning and maintenance of company assets and arrange repairs, contracts, and services
  • Investigate and resolve food- and service-related complaints
  • Manage market health and safety regulation standards
  • Implement and enforce corporate policies and procedures
  • Support Sales and Marketing initiatives and maintain local client relationships
  • Enforce Air Culinaire’s Standard Operating Procedure as the primary operations document
  • Report timesheets for personnel as needed for payroll
  • Support weekly company and personal expense reporting
  • Audit monthly vehicle maintenance logs and associated costs
  • Support accurate weekly accounts payable reporting and review accounts payable reports
  • Support monthly kitchen and locker product inventories
  • Supervise local employees in compliance with the Air Chef Employee Handbook
  • Perform other duties assigned by the General Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business and culinary arts and/or equivalent successful work-related Executive Chef or hospitality management experience required
  • Experience managing staff members and client relationships in a business environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 3–5 years’ prior experience and knowledge of high-end food services required
  • Additional aviation or hospitality services industry background preferred
  • Ability to create and maintain a strong team atmosphere
  • Ability to ensure employees are appropriately trained, carry appropriate workloads, and have required resources
  • Base knowledge of finance and accounting principles
  • Knowledge of Department of Health Regulations
  • Ability to schedule and manage labor and food costs within a budget
  • Ability to manage fulfillment teams and processes, vehicle fleet, off-site employee management, and associated expenses
  • Excellent driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass FAA on-ramp security clearance
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Frequent travel availability
  • Ability to travel in accordance with the current Air Culinaire Travel Policy
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Multilingual ability preferred
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply good judgment and understand written, oral, or diagram-form instructions
  • Ability to sit, talk, hear, use hands, reach, carry with hands and arms, and lift/move up to 20 pounds
  • Must complete pre-employment background check, drug test, MVR if applicable, and E-Verify
