About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and deploy robust cloud solutions using Cloud.gov and Azure to address client needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud technologies
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and availability
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect cloud environments
- Automate operational tasks to enhance efficiency and scalability of cloud systems
- Support client needs in Cloud.gov and Azure environments with minimal leadership oversight
- Contribute to the program’s long-term goals and development strategy
- Design, implement, automate, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure tailored to client requirements
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other technical stakeholders
- Build capabilities, deliver products, modernize legacy systems, and establish digital service infrastructure for federal agencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud platforms, including AWS, Cloud.gov, or Azure
- Expert-level knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security measures
- Expert-level knowledge of infrastructure as code tools, including Terraform
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to successfully complete and maintain the required federal Public Trust background investigation and suitability determination
- Experience with Cloud.gov and Azure platforms preferred
- Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator preferred
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes preferred
- Expert-level knowledge of DevOps practices and tools highly valuable
- Experience collaborating directly with clients, engineers, and other technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting government or federal programs
