About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage endpoint protection and device security across Mac and Windows
Administer Google Workspace account security and access controls
Keep operating systems and key software patched and up to date
Monitor and respond to security alerts
Manage device and data backup coverage
Handle routine IT/security maintenance and troubleshooting
Complete an initial transition/setup project
Provide ongoing lean maintenance
Document the environment
Flag security or reliability issues proactively

Requirements

What you’ll need

US-based required
Strong experience supporting small businesses of roughly 10–30 users
Hands-on experience with both macOS and Windows
Strong Google Workspace administration and security experience
Expertise in endpoint protection, patch management, device security, and backups
Huntress experience strongly preferred, ideally with an existing Huntress partner account and ability to provide licenses
Able to personally perform the work rather than primarily subcontracting it
Strong communication, documentation, and security practices
References from similar small-business clients highly valued
