Requirements
What you’ll need- Production software engineering experience for years
- Prior experience hiring, managing, and developing engineers, including building a fast, high-quality team at least once in a startup or high-growth environment
- Experience owning or significantly shaping an engineering roadmap, including pragmatic prioritization and scope management
- Architectural breadth across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure
- Experience building with AI agents and coding tools, with a point of view on their impact on team structure, tooling, and workflow
- Genuine interest in biology; no biology background required
- High-autonomy, founder mindset
- Must provide a GitHub link or another way to demonstrate software built
