About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own Addi’s marketing data platform, pipelines, and integrations connecting data to Braze, AppsFlyer, GTM, Marketplace, and the App
  • Make marketing data reliable, efficient, governed, and self-service using AI agents as the default way of working
  • Map the marketing data platform end to end during the first 90 days
  • Document sources, jobs, tables, and integrations for people and AI agents
  • Identify pain points and share a prioritized roadmap
  • Add tests and alerts to critical marketing pipelines
  • Achieve at least 99% on-time data for key tables and integrations
  • Reduce data incidents by 50% and identify root causes within two business days
  • Ship at least two AI agents or agentic workflows into production by month six
  • Automate recurring marketing data work such as audience requests, data-quality triage, and documentation upkeep
  • Provide runbooks and improve deployed agentic workflows
  • Reduce the cost or runtime of main marketing pipelines by at least 30% by month nine
  • Remove unused or duplicated tables and jobs
  • Maintain a catalog of marketing tables, events, and attributes with owners and approval rules
  • Ensure marketing-tool data comes from official pipelines
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Growth, Marketplace, technical, and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience writing and debugging complex SQL without AI
  • Proficiency with joins at scale, window functions, CTEs, and incremental logic
  • Ability to identify incorrect query results and explain why
  • Experience building clean, reusable tables and datamarts
  • Track record of building and operating ELT pipelines on a modern data platform
  • Hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow or similar, Git, and code reviews
  • Experience with SQL warehouses, notebooks, and scheduled jobs
  • Understanding of catalogs, schemas, tables, and permissions
  • Experience using tests, monitoring, and alerts; comfort with on-call and root-cause issue resolution
  • Ability to automate and integrate with Python
  • Experience building scripts and API integrations that others can run
  • Daily experience using coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar
  • Ability to write specifications, delegate multi-step tasks to agents, and review results
  • Experience building agents or agentic workflows chaining LLM calls with tools such as SQL, APIs, or MCP servers
  • Understanding of agent failure modes, guardrails, and testing with real inputs
  • Experience validating AI output and implementing checks
  • Experience writing documentation and runbooks usable by teammates and AI agents
  • Ability to translate Marketing, Growth, and Marketplace needs into appropriate data solutions
  • Ability to manage an independent backlog and ship without close direction
  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical people
  • English is a must
  • Desirable: marketing tools such as Braze, AppsFlyer, or GTM
  • Desirable: reverse ETL or CDP experience
  • Desirable: advanced pipeline tools, Spark performance tuning, or a data platform certification
  • Desirable: LLM APIs, LiteLLM, or MCP servers
  • Desirable: A/B testing and basic statistics
  • Desirable: knowledge of data privacy rules, including consent, opt-out, and Habeas Data
  • Desirable: AWS and fintech or regulated-industry experience
