About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead AROYA’s post-sale organization from first sensor activation through renewals
  • Own gross and net revenue retention, renewals, churn, and expansion within the installed base
  • Own the at-risk process, including risk identification, intervention, escalation, and churn learnings
  • Drive the auto-renewal program and payment method collection
  • Define and operationalize a repeatable expansion motion
  • Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle, including activation, adoption, support quality, agronomic value delivery, and renewal
  • Enforce handoff integrity across Grower Support, Grower Success, and Agronomic Advising
  • Build and maintain an account health model based on platform usage and device health
  • Serve as the final escalation point and decide when accounts require exceptions
  • Own the aggregated voice-of-customer feedback loop into product, engineering, and marketing
  • Hire, develop, retain, and manage five specialists across distinct functions
  • Own account assignment, coverage models, workload balance, and capacity across East and West
  • Define standards, SOPs, templates, and training for onboarding, case handling, business reviews, and advising
  • Cross-train the team and reduce single points of failure
  • Run recurring renewal and at-risk reviews
  • Report retention, activation, adoption, escalation, and services performance to revenue leadership
  • Own Salesforce and internal-tool systems usage and documentation discipline
  • Partner with sales, product, finance, deal desk, marketing, and revenue leadership
  • Supply customer references, case study candidates, and advocacy
  • Build operating rhythm, account health model, service definitions, and team standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience leading a post-sale team in a recurring revenue business, with direct accountability for a retention number
  • Proven people management, including hiring, developing, and having hard conversations without escalating them to your manager
  • Enough technical and cultivation literacy to earn credibility with agronomists, growers, and support specialists
  • Controlled environment agriculture or cannabis experience is a strong advantage
  • Comfort managing across distinct functions rather than a single discipline
  • Operating discipline; build cadences and stick to them
  • Data fluency; work a book of business from Salesforce and usage data rather than anecdote
  • Commercial judgment regarding customer relationships, pricing, and scope
  • Strong written communication, including reporting to executive leadership
  • Willingness to travel to customer facilities, trade shows, and internal meetings
  • Travel up to 30%
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
