Lead complex customer projects involving tailored cluster, container, automation, and CI/CD solutions
Coordinate various project stakeholders
Thoroughly analyze and validate requirements
Design and optimize cluster solutions and container platforms
Perform and standardize complex maintenance tasks
Establish clear documentation standards
Provide customers with technical coaching and long-term support
Resolve escalations directly and optimize technical workflows
Evaluate Professional Engineers and further develop assessment processes
Support customers on their organizational and technical journey into the cloud-native world
Design, build, and operate critical IT infrastructures

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 to 8 years of experience as a System Engineer in a cloud environment
In-depth knowledge of containers and cloud technologies: Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, OpenShift, SUSE Rancher, Helm, Argo CD
Knowledge of automation and IaC: Terraform / OpenTofu, Ansible
Knowledge of security: Vault / OpenBao, DevSecOps
Knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps: GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Argo CD
German and English proficiency at C1 level
Ability to design segmented, multi-zone networks with access and routing controls
Experience conducting hardening assessments for container platforms and services
Ability to troubleshoot system failures and design resilient architectures
Experience setting up secure pipelines throughout the DevOps lifecycle
Ability to confidently present technical topics in German and English
Independent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to establish workflows, monitor objectives, and manage risks
Ability to engage stakeholders and balance competing interests
Ability to analyze customer needs and develop suitable solutions
