About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and quality assurance of collaborative care programs across all partner sites
  • Provide clinical supervision and consultation to care managers, social workers, and behavioral health consultants embedded in partner practices
  • Ensure evidence-based protocols are followed for depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and other psycho-oncology presentations
  • Lead regular case consultations and team huddles with psychiatric consultants and care managers
  • Serve as the primary clinical point of contact for oncology practice partners
  • Build relationships with medical directors, nurse navigators, and practice administrators
  • Support onboarding and site implementations by training clinical staff and establishing workflow integrations, governance, and accountability structures
  • Collaborate with operations and business development teams to identify expansion opportunities
  • Monitor patient outcome data, including PHQ-9 and GAD-7, and report program performance to leadership
  • Develop and refine care protocols and clinical workflows
  • Contribute to grant reporting requirements, including state Rural Health initiatives and Medicaid population health metrics
  • Ensure compliance with telehealth regulations, payer requirements, and collaborative care billing standards
  • Foster a team culture defined by compassion, excellence, and accountability
  • Mentor clinical staff and support professional development pathways
  • Participate in leadership team meetings and contribute to organizational strategy
  • Manage and oversee roles hired by ABH for the program, including payroll, disciplinary actions, hiring, onboarding, and continuing education

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active LCSW
  • 5+ years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or program management role
  • Demonstrated experience with collaborative care models (IMPACT, DIAMOND, or similar) or integrated behavioral health in medical settings
  • Strong understanding of cancer-related psychosocial needs and psycho-oncology best practices
  • Comfort working in a fast-growing, startup-style environment with evolving systems and processes
  • LCSW-S licensure-approved to provide clinical supervision preferred
  • Experience working within oncology, chronic illness, or specialty medical settings preferred
  • Familiarity with Medicaid populations and value-based care arrangements preferred
  • Experience supporting or managing telehealth programs across multiple states preferred
  • Knowledge of grant-funded or state-supported rural health programs preferred
