About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all aspects of client travel arrangements
- Answer client calls and emails for new arrangements and itinerary changes
- Use Sabre to book and issue airline, hotel, car, and other reservations
- Maintain account knowledge to assist clients promptly
- Check queues daily for accuracy and complete issued tickets
- Maintain preferred vendors, Waiver/Favors, RezCritiques, and Vacation Referrals programs
- Provide travel expertise and international travel quotes
- Analyze fare rules, restrictions, non-refundable conditions, Open Skies, and FAA rules
- Meet management-defined KPIs, including productivity, transaction, attendance, and schedule requirements
- Communicate with airlines regarding flight changes, seating, and upgrades
- Follow ADTRAV policies, procedures, and approved traveler-service workflows
- Deliver excellent customer service, identify traveler issues, and resolve problems
- Collaborate with agents and employees to gather information and service travelers
- Build knowledge of ADTRAV’s industry and customer base
- Participate in ongoing training
- Maintain effective relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and clients
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 2 years of experience booking domestic and international travel; complex international a plus
- Experience using a GDS System; Sabre required, Amadeus a plus
- Highly knowledgeable of city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes
- Knowledge of government travel requirements, visas, and passports
- Understanding of federal travel regulations, Fly America Act and Open Skies Agreement
- Strong computer and typing skills, including navigating quickly between programs and using shortcut keys
- Demonstrated experience learning and using technology, and ability to use multiple applications and monitors simultaneously
- Ability to consistently deliver excellent customer service
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent listening skills
- Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
- Highly self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly and concisely and receive feedback and direction
- Professional and positive demeanor; ability to work cooperatively
- Ability to work remotely and meet company home-office requirements
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and client information
- Ability to work evening, night, overnight, weekend, and holiday schedules between 7pm-7am CT
- Ability to successfully pass credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background checks
- Must be a U.S. citizen and provide proof upon hire
- Ability to successfully pass a government clearance process
