About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze business requirements for Vodafone products and services
- Design and implement products and services
- Own code end-to-end from design through development
- Use automation, DevOps techniques, and version control
- Ensure product quality and customer experience
- Provide third-line support for live complaints requiring fixes or enhancements
- Communicate with technical and business stakeholders to agree on requirements and proposed designs
- Collaborate in an Agile team to deliver business requirements
- Ensure compliance with Vodafone Security and Privacy policies and standards
- Perform detailed business-requirements analysis
- Develop simple and optimal designs and new solutions
- Ensure proper product and service documentation
- Share knowledge and apply best practices
- Ensure the team embraces automation and DevOps techniques
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Experience in software engineering
- Hands on experience in cloud based infra-structure (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Hands on experience in DevOps tools
- 1-2 Programming experience (Java frameworks, Hibernate, Database; NodeJS and/or Angular is a plus)
- Good knowledge in computer networks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong data-driven analytical skills
- Experience in managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
- Exposure to Virtualization, Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity is a plus
