About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform system engineering and application development for industrial automation and DCS projects.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Support commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize control systems to ensure reliable system performance.
  • Support system upgrades, migrations, and integration activities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to control systems and industrial communication networks.
  • Collaborate with project teams and customers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide technical support during project implementation and onsite activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • 3–6 years of experience in Industrial Automation Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more major Distributed Control Systems (DCS) platforms.
  • Experience in system engineering, application development, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize control system performance.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and control philosophies.
  • Understanding of industrial networking and cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Ability to support system upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Experience in power, water, oil & gas, or industrial automation projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally based on project requirements, including supporting FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities.
