About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze business requirements for Vodafone products and services
- Design and implement products and services
- Own code end-to-end from design through development
- Use automation, DevOps techniques, and version control
- Ensure products and services meet high quality and customer experience standards
- Provide third-line support for live complaints requiring fixes or enhancements
- Communicate with technical and business stakeholders to agree on requirements and proposed designs

- Perform detailed analysis of business requirements
- Develop simple and optimal designs for products and services

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in software engineering
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructure, including OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools
- 3+ years of programming experience with Java frameworks and Hibernate
- Experience with databases
- Knowledge of computer networks
- Experience managing full application stacks from the operating system through custom applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong data-driven analytical skills
- Creative problem-solving skills and passion for excellent customer experience
- Ability to work in a multitasking, high-energy environment
- Exposure to virtualization, cloud computing, and cybersecurity is a plus
- NodeJS and/or Angular experience is a plus
