About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, integrate, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules across multiple projects and disciplines
- Monitor project progress and performance against established baselines and milestones
- Implement cost control methodologies, forecasting models, and Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques
- Conduct critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, constraints, and mitigation plans
- Prepare project status reports, executive presentations, and performance dashboards
- Support project teams in planning, resource allocation, and schedule optimization activities
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, project managers, engineering teams, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectives
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to enhance project visibility and decision-making
- Mentor and support junior planners, promoting best practices in project planning and controls
- Participate in site visits as required to monitor project execution and progress
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and project controls
- Proven experience managing schedules for complex engineering, industrial, infrastructure, or construction projects
- Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6
- Strong working knowledge of MS Project
- Solid understanding of project controls, cost control methodologies, forecasting, and Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of Power BI and dashboard development is highly desirable
- PMP certification is a strong plus
- Fluent English is required
- French language proficiency is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior team members
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- High level of accountability, ownership, and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and dynamic project environments
