About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage product data, BOMs, documents, and engineering changes in Siemens Teamcenter
- Configure and support Teamcenter workflows, access rules, and data structures
- Build and maintain discrete-event simulation models of production lines and logistics systems using Tecnomatix Plant Simulation
- Analyze simulation results to identify bottlenecks and improve throughput, resource utilization, and layout
- Run "what-if" scenarios to support production planning and investment decisions
- Use SimTalk scripting to customize and automate simulation models
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and industrial engineering teams
- Prepare clear reports and recommendations based on simulation findings
- Provide user support and training on Teamcenter and Plant Simulation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 2-3 years of practical experience with Siemens Teamcenter and/or Plant Simulation
- Understanding of PLM concepts: BOM management, change management, workflows, and versioning
- Understanding of discrete-event simulation and production system analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Preferred: Experience with SimTalk programming
- Preferred: Experience with Teamcenter customization (ITK, SOA) or integration with ERP systems such as SAP
- Preferred: Familiarity with other Siemens tools such as NX or Process Simulate
- Preferred: Knowledge of lean manufacturing and digital twin concepts
- Preferred: Siemens certifications (a plus)
