About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform ultrasound diagnostic procedures as requested by the physician
- Independently produce a variety of ultrasound imaging procedures using judgment and initiative
- Document test results and maintain hard-copy images
- Perform preventive maintenance on ultrasound equipment according to equipment manuals
- Inspect equipment daily and document needed repairs
- Maintain patient records according to hospital policy and procedure
- Order supplies and maintain inventory
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current license Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer required
- Successful completion of Ultrasound Training Program preferred
- OBGYN experience preferred
- Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone Imaging certification may be required based on department
- Must be able to lift and support 50 pounds
- Must possess intact sight, hearing, smell, touch, and finger dexterity
- Ability to work PRN as needed, Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00
