About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish staffing complement and staff readiness to support a facility 24/7/365
  • Recommend, improve, evaluate, maintain, and administer maintenance and asset programs
  • Utilize management tools including budget reports, CMMS dashboards, and energy usage and efficiency reporting
  • Adhere to regulatory compliance codes and schedule and maintain records of inspections, testing, maintenance, and drills
  • Analyze root causes of building system failures and implement solutions to prevent future failures and disruptions
  • Assist in developing business unit and enterprise goals, staffing, incident prevention, productivity standards, and departmental objectives
  • Coordinate interdepartmental and intradepartmental services
  • Communicate with Administration, the Director, staff, patients, and families
  • Support larger-scale projects throughout assigned facilities
  • Implement standardized record keeping and reporting and manage an effective audit program
  • Conduct team and staff meetings for training and timely information distribution
  • Interface with site administration regarding monthly budget performance, productivity, and labor expenses
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Trades Certificate with 3 years of progressive leadership experience or 5 years of progressive leadership experience
  • Leadership experience in a facility operations/maintenance environment
  • Competency using computers and technology, including Microsoft Office 365
  • Preferred: Associate degree or BS/BA degree
  • Preferred: 7+ years of progressive leadership experience
  • Preferred: 5 years of healthcare facilities experience or 7 years of facilities or property maintenance experience
  • Preferred: Trades license and/or CHFM
