About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the inpatient consulting service with two other APPs and 12 neurohospitalist physicians
- Provide neurologic care in a collaborative inpatient neurology team
- Work inpatient-only 10-hour shifts from 7 am to 5 pm
- Cover weekday and weekend shifts
- Potentially work a 7-on/7-off schedule or variable scheduling with consecutive workdays and days off
- Provide care in a staffing model of 2 physicians and 1–2 APPs
- Manage approximately 15 patients per day
- Work with no hospital call
- Practice in an open ICU
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
- At least 2 years of experience as an APP
- Prior neurology experience preferred but not required
- Authentic compassion for patients and a team-focused attitude
