About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and self-service data solutions
- Present data clearly to stakeholders
- Apply development best practices in partnership with senior teammates
- Validate the accuracy and integrity of datasets and datamarts
- Analyze datasets to identify trends and outcomes of healthcare programs and interventions
- Translate business needs into meaningful metrics, reports, and visualization tools
- Adhere to data stewardship guidelines, regulations, and department standards for reporting and handling sensitive data
- Partner with senior developers and data architects to improve technical skills
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, data science, finance, business analytics, health informatics, or related field
- Typically requires 0 to 2 years of experience
- Epic Cogito Fundamentals accreditation or certification obtained within 180 days
- Epic Caboodle Data Model accreditation or certification obtained within 180 days
- Epic Clarity Data Model accreditation or certification obtained within 180 days
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and applies new programming tools and techniques
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to customer service
- Desire to learn healthcare-related systems and business processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to actively listen and ask clarifying questions
- Must be located in an approved state; preferred remote locations include IL, WI, NC, and GA
- No relocation; no sponsorship of transfer of visa now or in the future
