About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure technology programs, initiatives, and operational issues align with local business, clinical, and operational priorities while maintaining enterprise standards, timelines, and governance
  • Act as the single point of accountability between Enterprise Technology and assigned facilities or divisions
  • Build and maintain relationships with facility leadership, clinical leaders, operations, and administrative stakeholders
  • Coordinate delivery of enterprise and divisional IT programs at the facility level within approved scope, schedule, and budget
  • Partner with IT Program Managers, Project Managers, Architecture, Applications, Infrastructure, and Field Services teams
  • Oversee high-impact incidents and issues exceeding SLA thresholds
  • Coordinate vendor engagement for incident resolution, service reviews, and SLA management
  • Provide status updates to facility leadership and senior IT leaders regarding program progress, risks, and impacts
  • Support annual facility technology planning, prioritization, and budgeting
  • Review vendor contracts and statements of work with IT leadership and legal/procurement
  • Engage senior clinical, IT, and business leaders and steering committees through progress reports, risk analysis, and corrective actions
  • Ensure projects have defined business requirements and remain within agreed scope tolerances
  • Track projects after implementation and survey stakeholders to confirm expected benefits are achieved
  • Perform post-implementation analysis and incorporate lessons learned into project management practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge in Information Technology or related field
  • Typically requires 7 years in project management
  • At least five years responsible for large complex projects above $1M
  • Proven record of successful project delivery using modern project management methodologies
  • Expertise in industry standard program management methodologies and tools
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to break down projects into appropriate sub-components
  • Ability to manage project complexity and detail and define detailed project work-breakdown structures
  • Ability to lead diverse technical resources across different domains
  • Strong influencing and persuasion skills
  • Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate concisely with senior leaders
  • Willingness and ability to travel periodically to various supported sites
  • None required for certification/license
