About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receive incoming materials and equipment and inspect and verify accuracy and condition before signing for delivery
- Maintain accurate records for receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment
- Prepare, distribute, and transport supplies and equipment to facilities, departments, or other entities
- Distribute supplies and equipment in response to requisitions, customer requests, replenishment schedules, and purchase orders
- Warehouse supplies, maintain inventory levels, and perform issues and credits
- Replenish and maintain specialty carts, trays, and kits while checking for outdated supplies
- Prepare returned materials, package them, initiate returns, and complete required vendor follow-up
- Maintain security, orderliness, and cleanliness of work areas
- Check, rotate, and remove outdated or damaged materials
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Graduate
- No experience required
- No licensure, registration, or certification required
- Ability to operate and understand basic computer functions, data entry systems and devices
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, bend, squat, twist, crawl, kneel, and climb throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. from floor to overhead
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. at waist height a reasonable distance
- Ability to push/pull with 20 lbs. of force
- Ability to operate material handling machinery, including reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet movers
- Ability to use Material Management Computer System and hand-held computers
