About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Float between BH-Charlotte and BH-Davidson
  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
  • Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
  • Apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision making
  • Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum
  • Provide care in an 18-bed inpatient adult unit delivering acute behavioral health services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Minimum one (1) year of Behavioral Health RN experience strongly preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Behavioral Health experience with strong de-escalation skills
  • Psychiatric-mental health or professional nursing certification preferred
