About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain designated applications in research department databases
  • Create new databases, prepare and run data analysis queries, and upload local databases to the national database center
  • Use existing databases to create requested reports
  • Perform data manipulation and migration
  • Review data quality reports for data submissions and errors
  • Ensure data requests are received, authorized, evaluated, and reported
  • Prepare specifications and summary reports for data queries and requests
  • Perform chart abstraction
  • Provide administrative support when needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a health-related field required
  • Associate's Degree and equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Training in information systems technologies, desktop applications, and databases required
  • Experience with analytical software and database analysis and reports preferred
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day during standard working hours, typically between 8am and 5pm
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Ability to consistently sit for 5–6 hours
  • Intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, touch, and manual dexterity
  • Responsibility to work in a safe manner
