About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report directly to the CEO as Aerovy's first Business Development Representative
  • Run outbound prospecting against a 120-account named list
  • Research accounts and identify aftermarket and digital stakeholders
  • Build sequences in Apollo and book qualified meetings
  • Qualify opportunities based on a champion, a scheduled next meeting, and a quantified buyer problem
  • Support the CEO's direct enterprise pipeline by sending recaps, chasing open items, scheduling next steps, and keeping deals moving
  • Maintain HubSpot contacts, deal stages, Sourced by and Qualified properties, and detailed notes
  • Pre-book trade show and conference meetings, build onsite schedules, and complete post-show follow-up within the week
  • Use sales automation and AI for account research, list building, and personalization
  • Prepare the CEO for calls
  • Share outbound insights and recurring objections with marketing
  • Document successful processes for future BDRs
  • Stay involved with deals through close

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1 to 3 years in a BDR, SDR, or sales support role selling B2B software, or a track record of persistent, organized outreach from another field
  • Clear, concise written communication; ability to draft cold emails a VP would read
  • Comfort on the phone and in person, including trade show prospecting and opening cold conversations
  • Highly organized; able to keep a CRM clean and prevent follow-up gaps
  • Fluency with HubSpot, Apollo, or similar prospecting and CRM tools
  • Curiosity about using AI to improve productivity
  • Coachable and low ego
  • Based in Atlanta or able to be in the office regularly
  • Able to travel to conferences and customer sites
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
