About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Research and identify potential customers through online research, social media, industry events, and networking
  • Generate leads and build a pipeline of opportunities through outbound prospecting
  • Qualify leads against target-market and ideal-customer-profile criteria
  • Initiate contact with prospects through cold calls, emails, and other outreach methods
  • Establish and maintain relationships with decision-makers and influencers in target accounts
  • Nurture leads with relevant information, insights, and resources
  • Understand prospect pain points, challenges, and objectives to position company solutions
  • Conduct needs assessments and solution-oriented discussions
  • Leverage AESSEAL Group asset reliability, sustainability, and technical service capabilities
  • Collaborate with the sales team on qualified-lead handovers and ongoing sales support
  • Share market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence with internal stakeholders
  • Manage and update CRM systems to track lead progression, interactions, and outcomes
  • Generate reports and metrics covering lead conversion, pipeline velocity, and revenue targets
  • Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
  • Provide value propositions for AESSEAL products and services across industrial sectors
  • Cross-sell AES Engineering Group products, including AVT Reliability products
  • Manage territory plans, sales pipeline activities, accounts, opportunities, and business reviews
  • Prepare and execute territory sales plans, events, and marketing campaigns
  • Measure and report territory performance to the line manager
  • Build territories and sell to all organizational levels using influencing skills and change-management approaches
  • Provide customer updates and establish AESSEAL value and return on investment
  • Ensure sales align with AESSEAL pricing and margin policies
  • Review contracts and transactions against AES Global Terms and Conditions
  • Manage quotations, orders, invoicing, and payments professionally
  • Research industry trends and competitor activity to identify threats and opportunities
  • Engage with industry, social media, marketing, and market-sector networking platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience with technical, sales, commercial, and negotiating activities
  • Ability to prospect, generate, qualify, and nurture leads
  • Experience using CRM systems or other sales tools
  • Ability to conduct needs assessments and solution-oriented discussions
  • Ability to manage territory plans, sales pipelines, accounts, opportunities, and business reviews
  • Ability to prepare and execute territory sales plans, events, and marketing campaigns
  • Ability to research and analyze industry trends and competitor activity
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, digital branding, social media, and market-sector networking platforms
  • In-country/state legislative awareness of industry compliance challenges is desired
  • Membership of Industry Societies advantageous
  • Ability to meet or exceed industry best management practices across multiple industries
