About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Affinity Water Resilience Tool and associated dashboards
- Develop approaches to resilience assessment, scenario modelling and investment evaluation
- Coordinate stakeholder workshops and data validation activities
- Support development and implementation of resilience strategies across the business
- Embed resilience outputs into business-as-usual decision-making processes
- Provide guidance, training and support to resilience-tool users
- Represent Affinity Water within industry and regulatory resilience groups
- Monitor emerging resilience standards, regulations and best practice
- Assess regulatory developments’ impact on business processes and strategies
- Build relationships with regulators, industry bodies and technical specialists
- Support delivery of the Asset Management Capability Improvement Roadmap
- Contribute to the organisation’s ISO 55001 accreditation journey
- Help implement and maintain asset management assurance and maturity frameworks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree-level qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Practical understanding of asset management principles and lifecycle thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Project management experience within complex environments
- Knowledge of water industry assets, processes and operations
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
- Experience delivering improvement or change programmes
- Full UK Driving Licence
