About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the management of judicial credit recovery matters by monitoring the case portfolio and contributing to the department’s operational efficiency
- Review and verify documents required to file lawsuits
- Control the opening and monitoring of case files in the legal system, ensuring that information is kept up to date
- Monitor case progress with outsourced law firms, taking the necessary steps to meet deadlines and internal procedures
- Liaise with internal departments to request and obtain documents and information required to conduct cases
- Support the management of settlements, payments received, removal of negative credit listings, and fulfillment of obligations arising from court decisions
- Enter and maintain up-to-date information in legal systems, internal controls, spreadsheets, and departmental metrics
- Prepare reports, presentations, and management information to monitor the department’s results and performance
- Monitor procedural deadlines and support attorneys with administrative and legal activities related to credit recovery litigation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a degree in Law
- Previous experience in administrative or legal routines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience in legal litigation, credit recovery, or judicial collections will be considered a plus
- Knowledge of legal systems, preferably eLaw
- Experience preparing reports, monitoring metrics, and liaising with outsourced law firms will be considered a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, organization, attention to detail, and analytical ability
