About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Calculate and review payroll, including monthly payroll, vacation pay, 13th-month salary, and terminations
- Process payroll for teaching and administrative staff, taking contractual rules and collective bargaining agreements into account
- Calculate and review employee terminations, ensuring the accurate determination of termination payments
- Calculate and review labor and social security contributions
- Record payroll entries and integrate payroll with accounting
- Review 13th-month salary and vacation provisions
- Manage and validate information submitted to eSocial, ensuring event consistency and resolving discrepancies
- Calculate and submit obligations related to FGTS Digital and DCTFWeb
- Manage FGTS and statutory contributions, including handling matters through Conectividade Social
- Review and validate statutory deductions, such as INSS, IRRF, and other applicable withholdings
- Handle offsets, refunds, and adjustments through PER/DCOMP
- Support the provision and gathering of information related to labor claims by performing calculations, reviews, and submitting the information required by the Legal and eSocial teams
- Analyze inconsistencies in payroll processes and propose process improvements and optimization
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and clarification when necessary
- Provide support to business units and internal teams on payroll and statutory contribution matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with eSocial, FGTS Digital, DCTFWeb, Conectividade Social, and PER/DCOMP
- Knowledge of payroll and termination calculation and processing
- Strong knowledge of labor and social security contributions
- Knowledge of payroll accounting
- Experience handling matters related to labor claims
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience with the TOTVS RM Labore system
- Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented profile
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to deadlines
- Proactive approach and focus on continuous process improvement
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of requests and competing priorities
