About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the design of conversational solutions, defining the architecture for each operation based on criticality, volume, and use case
  • Serve as the technical authority for the Meta environment, including the WhatsApp Business Platform, policies, and verification, and guide decisions regarding partner platform (BSP) capabilities
  • Explore, test, and enable advanced Meta capabilities, such as native agents and Flows, assessing applicability and return on investment
  • Architect the capture and processing of conversation data to support conversation intelligence
  • Lead technical assessments and support decisions regarding connection models, risks, and trade-offs
  • Support the design of integrations among WhatsApp, CRM, CDP, and Martech ecosystem systems, specifying data flows, events, and webhooks
  • Guide the migration and activation of new numbers, minimizing risks and preserving continuity
  • Define technical standards, best practices, and compliance requirements for number governance
  • Connect business and technology by transforming business challenges into viable, well-specified technical solutions
  • Support conversational journeys and AI agents
  • Share knowledge and best practices with other areas of the company

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Proven 5+ years of experience with Martech and messaging/BSP platforms
  • Strong command of the Meta ecosystem (Business Manager, WhatsApp Manager, WABA), with knowledge of Flows, payments, catalogs, and usernames
  • Solid experience designing API, webhook, and real-time event integrations
  • Understanding of conversational data architecture to support analytics and AI intelligence
  • Strong security and compliance awareness applied to channels, including ban-risk mitigation and opt-in/opt-out management
  • Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to guide decisions and align technical and business teams
  • Previous experience in high-scale environments and projects for large enterprises
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Meta Blueprint certifications (WhatsApp Business Platform) or equivalent are a plus
  • Experience with conversational products and agentic architecture (RAG, MCP, Skills, LLM integration) is a plus
  • Experience using generative AI as a productivity tool within your area is a plus
