About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Contribute to the expansion of the Afya ecosystem and the generation of new revenue streams
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and expansion opportunities
- Identify new markets, business models, and growth opportunities
- Prepare business cases and feasibility analyses, assessing market potential, returns, risks, and strategic alignment
- Lead negotiations and support the implementation of new projects and strategic initiatives
- Work in partnership with the relevant internal teams
- Connect external opportunities with the company’s internal needs and strategies
- Track performance indicators, results, and the opportunity pipeline
- Ensure visibility into the progress of initiatives and contribute to strategic decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, International Relations, or a related field
- Experience in Business Development, Strategy, Partnerships, or related areas
- Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities, markets, and strategic partnerships
- Analytical profile, with the ability to prepare business cases and feasibility analyses and assess expansion opportunities
- Strong negotiation and project management skills, with the ability to lead strategic initiatives
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
- Preferred: experience in the Healthcare, Technology, or Education sectors
- Preferred: experience with strategic partnerships, innovation, new business models, or relationships with healthcare companies, healthtechs, and medical societies
