About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead teams of Business Development Representatives and Sales Ambassadors to deliver commercial strategic priorities
  • Coach and develop team members
  • Manage team performance, including performance management, recruitment, and training support
  • Drive KPI performance through increased distribution and scorecard growth
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, safe systems of work, pristine principles, and site risk assessments
  • Review and drive key KPI indicators to address performance issues and opportunities
  • Report and share team progress with the FSLT
  • Build capability through formal and informal training plans
  • Represent the team internally and use engagement survey results to deliver improvements
  • Manage reward and recognition and support a motivated performance culture
  • Manage effectively within budget
  • Recruit high-calibre individuals with future development potential

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • People management experience or considerable account FMCG sales experience with some coaching experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Developed leadership skills, including leading by example and managing positive and difficult conversations
  • Decisiveness and confidence in making difficult decisions, balancing data analysis with personal judgement
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Full driving licence is essential
  • Flexibility to attend monthly team meetings that may require overnight stays
