About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Represent the On Trade team in key National Wholesale accounts
- Manage and develop a strategic growth agenda focused on volume, revenue, and profit across the AG Barr brand portfolio
- Serve as the primary commercial link between AG Barr brands and key wholesale buying teams
- Manage end-to-end account mechanics from range distribution to promotional strategy
- Build and deliver strategic growth plans covering invoice revenue, volume, distribution, NPD, and P&L
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers across buying, operations, and marketing teams
- Conduct regular account reviews and manage internal, route-to-market, and spirit partner relationships where applicable
- Develop, agree, and deliver joint business plans with key customers
- Lead forecast KPIs and deliver product availability across the supply chain from AG Barr to depot, depot to store, and store to shelf
- Agree, manage, and adhere to authorised budgets, customer investments, and trading terms
- Deliver and evaluate promotional and activation plans across core brands
- Use data and insight to support category-first selling, interpret sales reports, track market trends, and optimise performance
- Develop clear internal and external communication processes
- Complete required administration in line with agreed processes, procedures, and deadlines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven sales experience within the FMCG sector, with a significant portion in National Wholesale or similar strategic sales role
- Direct experience within the UK/Local On-Trade drinks industry and cocktails preferred but not essential
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding challenging sales targets, particularly New Business
- Excellent IT skills, including Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to learn new packages including Cognos, IRI/Kantar, and Demantra
- High level of numeracy and good attention to detail
- Highly organised
- Good communication skills, especially remotely
