About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and govern ITIL processes, particularly IT Asset and Configuration Management
- Oversee policies, procedures, and asset lifecycle management
- Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives
- Identify, evaluate, and manage appropriate tools and techniques for service configuration
- Collaborate with IT Security to ensure processes and tools meet best practice, security, compliance, and audit standards
- Utilise Service Level Management and data analysis to identify operational improvements
- Present key metrics to stakeholders
- Support Change, Problem, Incident, and Major Incident Management
- Support relevant Business As Usual projects within the Service Delivery function
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in an existing Service Delivery or Service Support role
- Clear focus on IT Asset, Service Configuration, and Service Level Management
- Skills in one or more ITSM practices, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, or Knowledge Management (preferably)
- Good understanding of the ITIL framework
- ITIL qualifications are desirable
- Project Management skills are desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop internal stakeholder relationships and collaborate across wider teams
- Ability to prioritise conflicting demands, work under pressure, and deliver high-quality, accurate tasks with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and think beyond the day-to-day remit
