About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end tax reporting process for the Aggreko global group
  • Deliver year-end tax consolidation
  • Manage quarterly reporting
  • Prepare budget and forecast projections
  • Manage cash tax actuals and projections
  • Prepare tax disclosures
  • Manage external auditors and advisors throughout the tax reporting process
  • Drive continuous improvement in the group’s tax reporting systems, processes, and procedures
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of tax reporting responsibilities
  • Shape and enhance the financial control environment within a global business operating across multiple countries and jurisdictions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified ICAS/ACA/CTA or equivalent
  • Post-qualification experience in tax reporting, ideally within a large multinational group
  • Strong experience and knowledge of tax reporting under US GAAP and IFRS
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters OTP system or similar tax reporting technology
  • Experience working in an outsourced finance function with an external BPO provider is beneficial but not critical
  • Highly analytical
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with tax authorities and influence internal stakeholders
  • Experience working to multiple deadlines under time pressure
  • Ability to quickly understand new technical issues and stay current with developing technical areas
