About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install, maintain, and repair Chromatography, Spectrometry, and Spectroscopy instruments at customer laboratories
  • Engage with customers for on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of products related to Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, LC Mass Spectrometry, GC Mass Spectrometry, Atomic Spectroscopy, and Molecular Spectroscopy systems and software
  • Diagnose and resolve product performance issues
  • Advise customers on preventive measures and configurations to improve product performance and longevity
  • Collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams
  • Participate in internal technical training and workshops
  • Relay critical customer insights and experiences to Agilent leadership
  • Travel to a variety of customer laboratories

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a science field, such as chemistry, biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, engineering, or similar
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Passion for technology
  • Minimal to no prior work experience required
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and coordinate activities with others
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to different customer environments
  • Must be willing to relocate to Wilmington, Delaware for 4 months of onboarding and training
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
