About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead country-level execution of new product introductions across the APAC region
- Manage integrated, multi-country new product launch programs from global product readiness through regulatory clearance, technical and channel readiness, market activation, and first customer adoption
- Develop launch plans, budgets, structures, schedules, and resourcing for each priority launch market
- Drive regulatory readiness with local Regulatory Affairs teams and specialist registration partners
- Coordinate critical-path activities across Global Product Launch, Regulatory Affairs, technical specialists, country commercial teams, and channel partners
- Support channel partners with product and application training, competency certification, demo instrument allocation and installation, ordering and inventory access, and target account planning
- Identify, qualify, onboard, and manage third-party regulatory and registration partners
- Track program costs and expenses, communicate deviations, and monitor launch performance against the business case
- Own costing of country registration and readiness programs and ensure delivery within approved budgets
- Build relationships with channel partners, regulatory partners, and country commercial organizations
- Establish regional launch governance with a single readiness view by product and country, clear owners, and escalation paths
- Serve as the direct contact between channel partners, specialist regulatory partners, and Agilent project stakeholders
- Travel up to approximately 40% across India and broader APAC markets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a life science, engineering or related discipline
- 5–8 years of experience in product launch, commercial, or channel partner management within medical diagnostics, in vitro diagnostics, or laboratory instrumentation
- End-to-end product launch ownership from plan through first sale
- Strong project management discipline, including critical paths, gates, dependency mapping, and risk control
- PMP, Lean, or an equivalent structured methodology
- Multi-country delivery experience across India and APAC markets
- Experience directing external vendors, consultants, or agencies to deliverables and service levels
- Willingness to travel approximately 40% within the region
- Must consent to and meet Agilent-approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements, potentially including proof of identification, proof of certification, and customer health and safety requirements
- Preferred: experience with cell analysis, genomics, or pathology product lines
- Preferred: commercial enablement at scale, including partner training, competency certification, and demo fleet planning across an indirect channel
- Preferred: working knowledge of diagnostic instrument regulatory pathways, including CDSCO and ASEAN regimes
- Preferred: MBA or comparable postgraduate business qualification
