About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide remote post-sales technology support and technical service to external customers and/or internal field personnel
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and chat
  • Troubleshoot Agilent hardware and software issues
  • Consult on Agilent products and applications
  • Deliver minor educational services, including through e-learning platforms
  • Create and curate customer-facing articles and discussions
  • Navigate customer needs and coordinate with different departments
  • Explore and qualify further revenue opportunities through post-sales interactions
  • Provide transactional sales opportunities through vetted leads for sales initiatives and percentage returns
  • Potentially repair or refurbish complex instruments and systems in an Agilent service center or refurbishment facility
  • Potentially visit customer sites alongside a Field Service Engineer
  • Route requests beyond scope to appropriate groups and departments
  • Support customers with Gas Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, or Spectroscopy Instrumentation hardware, software, and applications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent
  • Post-graduate, certification, and/or license may be required
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Logical troubleshooting skills
  • General proficiency with online tools, systems, and technologies
  • Willingness to learn and take on challenges
  • Knowledge of Gas Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, or Spectroscopy Instrumentation
  • English-language customer support capability
  • Availability for US Central and/or Mountain time zone coverage
