About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate marketing programs and initiatives to support funnel generation and sales for South Korea
  • Tailor worldwide marketing programs to region-specific customer needs and create region-specific programs
  • Determine the appropriate marketing tactics mix and own execution of marketing activities and customer communication in the assigned region/country
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities and convert them into tactical marketing and sales programs
  • Consolidate business metrics, market trends, pricing, customer, and technology information for business units
  • Enable communication flow between business units and sales channels
  • Identify and develop business opportunities and provide information and support for the sales force
  • Work closely with regional/country senior management to align sales and marketing functions
  • Engage with customers to generate new customers and maintain current customer relationships
  • Assist the sales force in the sales process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent
  • Post-graduate, certification, and/or license may be required
  • Typically, at least 8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level
  • Good understanding of analytical technologies such as chromatography, mass spectrometry, and spectroscopy
  • Experience driving marketing programs in key target segments: Pharma, Biopharma, Food and Environmental testing, Materials, Semiconductors, Alternative Energy, and Applied Chemicals
  • Willingness/ability to travel 25% of the time
