About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive aftermarket service sales, customer retention, and account growth across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee
  • Deliver Agilent's CrossLab Asset Performance Management portfolio, including service agreements, laboratory-wide service solutions, compliance and operational support programs, and digital technologies
  • Generate service sales growth within assigned named accounts and geographic territories
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to retain existing business and capture new growth opportunities
  • Promote and sell service agreements, digital solutions, and customized service offerings
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with executive, operational, technical, and procurement stakeholders
  • Assess customer needs and position solutions delivering operational, financial, and compliance benefits
  • Lead opportunity qualification, deal planning, competitive positioning, account penetration, and contract negotiations
  • Develop and manage lead generation and territory growth plans and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with sales, service delivery, operations, credit and collections, and other cross-functional teams
  • Drive territory strategy, share best practices, and facilitate stakeholder alignment
  • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Resolve customer and business challenges through judgment, creativity, and independent decision-making
  • Achieve or exceed sales quotas, growth objectives, and key performance metrics
  • Travel 50% of the time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree required; science, engineering, or business-related disciplines preferred
  • 4+ years of successful sales, account management, or business development experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving growth within strategic or major accounts
  • Demonstrated success selling consultative, value-based solutions and developing long-term customer partnerships
  • Strong ability to communicate the operational, financial, and compliance value of service and support solutions
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and working effectively within a matrixed organization
  • Ability to work independently while driving strategic initiatives across a geographically dispersed territory
  • Strong organizational, planning, and pipeline management skills
  • Knowledge of analytical instrumentation, laboratory operations, and service business models preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of account management and sales processes
  • Ability to solve complex business challenges with limited supervision
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
