About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage hospital equipment to keep it flowing efficiently throughout the hospital
- Deliver equipment to patient rooms or standby locations in patient-ready condition with appropriate software, accessories, and disposables
- Communicate with clinical staff about equipment features and functionality
- Provide quality service and meet customer and company metrics
- Pick up, clean, and process equipment according to company and hospital protocols
- Prepare equipment for patient-ready use
- Maintain professional relationships with hospital staff and other personnel
- Act as a customer-service subject-matter expert
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience required
- Prior work experience in hospital setting preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours to support a 24/7 schedule
- Able to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time
