About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide cost-effective maintenance on company- and customer-owned medical equipment at a designated fixed location
- Perform operational verification, preventive maintenance and corrective repair service
- Complete associated documentation and customer communication
- Inspect and test general surgery instrumentation
- Disassemble malfunctioning equipment and remove, repair or replace defective parts
- Maintain records of maintenance, parts and repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating and adjusting instruments
- Coordinate proposal maintenance program developments using company methods and models
- Facilitate equipment pickup, delivery, quotation communication, repair-status monitoring and delivery of completed repairs
- Work with leadership to coordinate periodic performance reviews
- Complete on-the-job training as part of onboarding
Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Experience working with medical equipment in a hospital or clinic preferred
- Great near-sighted vision and ability to distinguish colors
- Willingness to travel around to various sites in the Denver area to support business needs and goals
- Ability to sit on a work stool, stand, bend and have precise hand dexterity to grasp, manipulate or assemble very small objects, with or without accommodations
- Ability to safely drive a sprinter style vehicle
- Ability to use digital calipers, grinding wheels, soldering irons, sand blasters, Dremel style tools, torches and test equipment, requiring good hand-eye coordination
- May be required to obtain certain vaccinations or provide proof of current vaccination status based on customer and/or company requirements
